1. Establishment

On the 30th of April 1975, the South of Vietnam was liberated; Military Hospital 175 was officially established by merging the three hospitals K116, K72, K59 as well as other medical units. Military Hospital 175 was first known as “Liberation Army Hospital”, under the command of the General Logistic Department. In 2003, the Hospital was named Military Medical Institute 175 and was put under the Ministry of National Defense’s direct command. During the course of its establishment and development, generations after generations built Military Hospital 175 into one of most capable general hospital in the South of Vietnam.
